Importance of Calibration
The purpose of Calibration is to eliminate/minimize errors and uncertainty by ensuring the accuracy of test equipment.
Services
We are providing state-of-the-art calibration services at our own environmentally controlled permanent laboratory as well as at the site (as per customer requirements).A. Fluid Flow Discipline
1. Air Velocity (15 to 25 m/sec)
- This section has a five meters long transparent Wind Tunnel that can generate laminar airflow of 0 to 30 m/sec speed controlled with a VFD drive.
- This is used for calibrating S-Type pitot tubes used in Stack Monitoring Kits. The calibration is carried out by comparison method with a master L-type Pitot Tube.

2. Air Flow Rate (0.5 LPM to 60 LPM) Rotameter
- Fluid Flow section can calibrate air flow measuring instruments such as Rotameters and Diaphragm Gas Meters (DGM) from 0.5 LPM to 60 LPM with air as the medium.
- Laminar Flow Element (LFE) calibrators are used as reference standards.

B. Thermal Discipline
1. Temperature (-15 to 110oC, 50 to 650oC and 250 to 1200oC. )
- Thermal Calibration Section is equipped with three Dry Block Furnaces (DBFs). RTDs, with or without indicators, can be calibrated in temperature ranges from -15 to 400oC, and K and N type Thermocouples can be calibrated in range from 300 to 1,200oC.
- Calibration is performed by comparison method using R/S Type Thermocouple and a reference RTD as reference standards.

C. Electro-Technical Discipline
D. Mechanical Discipline
1. Pressure (0 to 2.5 bar) and Vacuum (-0.8 to 0 bar)
- Pressure and Vacuum gauges are calibrated by comparison method with precision WIKA CPT6000 pressure and vacuum sensors connected to WIKA CPH6000 Process calibrator.
- The range for pressure calibration is 0 to 2.5 bar and for vacuum, it is -0.8 to 0 bar.
